Dr. Lanna Cheuck

Dr. Lanna Cheuck is a Board Certified Urological surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with a holistic approach whose principles intertwine with the body healing itself. She graduated at the top of her class, earning her entry into the highest, most prestigious honor society that only few get into. She was accepted to and completed her general surgery internship at UMASS Memorial Hospital and then accepted into the Ivy League School of Brown University where she completed 4 years of urology residency and served as chief resident in 2010. She continued her pursuit in her academic endeavors by gaining acceptance to a 1 spot fellowship in Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery specializing in Robotics and Advanced Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgery at Montefiore at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. There, she focused on Robotic assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomies, partial nephrectomies and reconstructive pyeloplasties.

In 2011, Dr. Lanna quickly became the director of Robotics at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Long Island and performed a wide variety of Robotic and advanced urological surgeries. It was her directorship role that she developed her own program for penile rehabilitation for erectile dysfunction and her post prostatectomy penile rehabilitation program where salvaging the nerve bundles and going through her program allowed her patients to regain sexual function almost immediately.

Dr. Lanna is currently the director of EndoUrology and an assistant professor at Montefiore where she is engaged in research looking at Lipogems/Adipose derived stem cells’ regenerative properties for erectile function post Robotic assisted Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomies (RALRP), vaginal atrophy and stress urinary incontinence. She continues to teach at different medical schools and has been an invited speaker on many occasions and has given multiple grand round lectures on penile rehabilitation for erectile dysfunction and the treatment of Priapism (sustained erection).

She has have developed her own Penile Rehabilitation Program (Dr.Lanna’s PRP) using Platelet Rich Plasma from the patient’s own body which has been shown to have great regenerative powers.
